Project overview.

K-Block is a beginner-friendly blockchain explorer tool for the Kadena network, developed by Tech Fleet DAO.

I contributed to the design of blockchain tools within the Kadena ecosystem, beginning as a UX Design Apprentice on K-Block and later stepping into greater ownership while leading design efforts for Kadet Wallet — a sister application focused on simplifying digital asset management.

This progression allowed me to deepen my product thinking while collaborating cross-functionally to improve usability within a technically complex space.

My Role & Contributions

• Contributed to UX design, supporting feature exploration within a complex analytics environment.
• Owned the redesign of the block details page, simplifying a dense experience.
• Designed for high data density, improving hierarchy and readability.
• Built fluency in blockchain structures and technical requirements.
• Later led design for Kadet Wallet, shaping core asset interaction flows.
• Partnered with stakeholders and developers to translate constraints into usable experiences.
• Adapted quickly as product priorities evolved within an emerging tech space.

Challenge.

Blockchain explorers are inherently data-heavy, often making them difficult for newer users to navigate confidently. The challenge was designing experiences that balanced technical depth with clarity — ensuring the platform felt trustworthy and accessible without oversimplifying critical information.

Across both K-Block and Kadet Wallet, this meant translating complex systems into usable flows while supporting the needs of both emerging and experienced users.

(04)

Result.

These projects provided valuable experience designing within an emerging technology space, strengthening my ability to navigate technical complexity, collaborate cross-functionally, and translate dense systems into more approachable user experiences.

The work expanded my product perspective and prepared me to take on greater design ownership in subsequent roles.

This experience shaped my approach to designing for complex domains — prioritizing clarity, trust, and usability even within highly technical environments.
